I have never felt more like Martha Stewart than I do right now. I will let the photo do most of the talking, but let me say this: Everything tastes better smoked.
For Christmas I was given a smoker, and here you can see me putting it to good use. Smoked Kokanee salmon mixed with wild-herb rice and tomatoes, then carefully stuffed into bell peppers. The stuffed peppers are then smoked for about an hour. Right now I am killing time while the peppers in the linked photo finish smoking.
This winter has been some of the best Kokanee salmon fishing I have experienced. I am embarrassed to even say how many I have caught. It is hard not to be greedy with what are arguably the best tasting fish to have ever graced the earth (cell phone pics).
